Enid and Rebecca from Ghost world: The totally brilliant 2001 movie based on the cult comic by the same name. we can totally relate. In fact rumour has it the characters were actually loosely based on J & T’s suburban adventures a long time ago.
[coming out of their high school graduation ceremony]
Enid: God, what a bunch of retards...
Rebecca: I thought Chipmunk-face was never going to shut up.
Enid: I know, I liked her better when she was an alcoholic crack addict! She gets in one car wreck and all of a sudden she's Little Miss Perfect and everybody loves her.
Rebecca: It's totally sickening."
Melorra: Oh my god, you guys. We actually made it!
Enid: [Deadpan] Yeah. We graduated high school. How... totally... amazing."

segment #1*: the best cocktails in town

upstairs at the oak ~ westbourne park road's best kept secret. go for the not very good looking french waiter and awesome mila jovavich look-a-like bar lady
montgomery place ~ they dry their own fruit. they make good cocktails. sometimes they give you free drinks (unlike the electric, these barmen can be conned by 2 face models)
and finally a word of warning:
if you're going to PIX on westbourne grove for tapas and cocktails beware of the crazy eyed barman who has an unhealthy obsession with fruity cocktails even after specifically telling him you like non-girly hardcore bourbon based cocktails, and have already had your 5 a day quota
*although the title says it’s for girls, it’s ok if you’re a guy and want to read this
